Manage your BlueOcean crew

You now have the opportunity to add, edit, or remove credentials* to Brand Navigator!  Please see step by step instructions below.

*The ability to add, edit or remove users within specific roles is based on your own role when logged in. For details, please see Appendix A

 

**First Step for any updates is to Login to Brand Navigator**

  1. In the top right hand corner, click on the Settings Gear, this will take you to a list of all current credentials.Starting Point 
  2. This view will also give you a view into how many User and Guest seats you have remaining, as well as a reminder that you have unlimited seats at the viewer level.Highlight count

    • From this screen, you have the three options:  
      1. Add a Credential
      2. Edit a Credential
      3. Remove a credential 

 

ADD CREDENTIAL

  1. To Add a User, select the ADD USER button directly above and to the right of your user list.Add user button callout
  2. A pop out window will appear to the right hand side of the screen.Add user popout
  3. You will enter/confirm the following information:
    1. enter email address of new credential
    2. confirm the Brand 
    3. select an access level for the new credential
  4. Click “Add User” button at the bottom of the pop out
  5. Once you have added the new credential, you can refresh your screen and the new one will now appear in your list.New user added

 

Your new credentialed colleague will receive the following email, instructing them on how to set up their account.

  • They will need to create a password to ‘Finish Account Creation’ by clicking on the button in the email which will take them to the BlueOcean Brand Navigator Sign Up screen. Success! They now have access to Brand Navigator

EDIT CREDENTIAL

  1. To edit a credential, find their name in the list of credentials. 
  2. In the last column on the right, hover over the blank space and two options will appear – Edit or Remove

  3. Select Edit
  4. A pop out screen will appear that will give you the option to edit the Brand that the credential has access to, as well as their access level.Brand and role callout
  5. Populate the changes you wish to make, and select Edit at the bottom of the pop out.
  6. Refresh your admin page to view the changes made in your complete credential list.

 

REMOVE CREDENTIAL

  1. To remove a credential, find their name in the list of credentials. 
  2. In the last column on the right, hover over the blank space and two options will appear – Edit or RemoveRemove user
  3. Select Remove
  4. A popup will appear asking you to confirm the removal of the selected credential.Confirm user deletion
  5. Select Ok and you are done.
  6. Refresh your admin page to view the changes made in your complete credential list.
