We know there may be inconsistencies between what you see in your first party data, and what you see from BlueOcean. We don’t use first party data (we’re comparing you using data that comes from 3rd party and publicly available data sources), which allows us to ensure we’re seeing apples-to-apples comparisons with your competitors.
An expected part of working with various 3rd party data sources, means that data sometimes includes modeled or estimated numbers, in line with the standards of each particular source. The degree of variance between your first party data will differ for each channel, as some channels (like paid media) will incur higher industry-standard levels of modeling and estimation.
